Highway 113 used to run right in front of Oscar Mayer/Kraft with the tavern across the street.
In the mid-1960s the city created Packers Avenue and the Highway was shifted about 270 feet east.
That put the Simmons' land smack-dab in
Oscar Mayer
territory.
