1957 – Company moves headquarters from Chicago to Madison.
1970 – Oscar Mayer acquires C.F. Claussen and Sons Inc., a Chicago pickle company.
1979 – Oscar Mayer acquires the Louis Rich Company.
1981 – General Foods Corp. acquires Oscar Mayer and changes its name toOscar Mayer Foods Corp.
1985 – General Foods is acquired by Philip Morris Companies.
1988 – Philip Morris acquires Kraft, Inc.
1989 – Kraft and General Foods are combined to form Kraft General Foods,Inc.
