After many years of holding church services in homes, halls, stores and the capitol
building itself, the First Congregational Church built a church
It was an austere 27 x 64 foot frame structure on Webster St.

W. Washington Ave. & N. Fairchild St.
Built ~ 1873-74
Dedicated May 3, 1874
Destroyed 1929
