Four acres named after Maureen Arcand. Located near Truax Field where she lived for many years.

When Arcand was born in 1929 there was no name for what is now called cerebral palsy. She spends her life advocating for people with disabilities and was instrumental in founding the East Side Community Center.

December 16, 2004 was Maureen Arcand Appreciation Day in Madison, by proclamation of Mayor Dave Cieslewicz.
