Glenwood Children's Park

At Glenway, Cross and Glenwood streets     Dedicated in 1949
The renowned landscape architect, Jens Jensen, designed the park in a naturalistic style. Indian council rings built of stone are intended as play areas and gathering places. The site was once a stone quarry, and UW-Madison's North Hall and South Hall reportedly were built with its stone.
