Mrs. Frances Gallagher was found seriously injured after being beaten in her home 2129 Center Ave.
Frances' daughter, Hazel Williams, who lived with her, is found murderd in a bathtub
two doors away in an empty unheated house 2121 Center Ave. She is stabbed 40-50 times in the
chest. Gallagher owned the residence and Hazel was showing a man the place as a possible renter.
