Wal-Mart Shooting - June 11, 1999
A 45-year-old man shoots his former girlfriend and her fiancée in the parking lot of the west side Wal-Mart, then turns the gun on himself. He and the woman’s fiancée died. The woman has never recovered fully, suffering permanent mental and physical disabilities.
He had Huber work-release privileges with his one-year jail sentence for raping a woman.
He bought the gun from a co-worker at a nearby Arby's and left work early.
