O’Cayz Corral & Comic Strip Lounge Fire

O'Cayz Corral – 504 E. Wilson St.

A New Year's Day fire destroyed the Comic Strip Lounge and heavily damaged O'Cayz Corral. O'Cayz Corral sustained heavy fire, smoke, water & structural damage and had to be knocked down.

No one was hurt in the two-alarm fire, which broke out around 6:30 a.m. at the Comic Strip caused by discarded smoking materials in a trash can.
