An alum reported in
On Wisconsin that while working as a security guard at North Hall at
2:45 a.m. one Sunday in 1983, he saw a heavy fire door on the second floor open of its own accord.
No one was there but he said he felt a “certainty that there was something in the hall with me
that I could not see but I could sense” He also experienced a sudden drop in temperature.
Others have reported seeing a well-dressed man walking the halls alone or standing next to a custodian.
Possible Connection
A political science professor died in 1956 of a heart attack while working late in his fourth-floor
office.
