Built just before, and by the same architect (peabody) and contractor as the
Bradley Memorial Childrens Hospital.
They were almost identical when built.
Approximatly 750 cases of influenza were treated just after opening due to the
Spanish flu pandemic
In 1930 a large addition was built connecting it to the
Old UW Hospital was built
