Ingraham Hall
When the UW Business School moved from the "Commerce Building" to Grainger Hall the
building was renamed Mark H. Ingraham Hall. The move has some irony involved. Ingraham,
who opposed unnecessary specialization in education, opposed the creation of the Business
School (originally, the Commerce School).
Mark H. Ingraham ( - 1982) was dean of the College of Letters and Science from 1942 to 1961.
