John Cory House
107 W. Gorham St. Built 1876 Gothic Revival
This Gothic Revival cottage is architecturally significant as one of the few remaining
and most intact of the Gothic Revival style houses in Madison. It appears to be almost
identical to a picture of the house taken in 1929. It was built in 1876 for John Cory.
Cory was a building contractor. It is possible it was moved from another site, because
the house looks older than its construction date.
