Built in 1896 for John Froggatt, a farmer who did not live in Madison. Perhaps he built it as an investment or perhaps he intended to retire and move into town but didn’t for some reason. This large Queen Anne house has the steeply pitched roof and flared eaves of several lovely late 19th century Queen Anne houses in Madison.
