Kiekhofer Wall
120-foot wall named for UW-Madison economist “Wild Bill” Kiekhofer.
Kiekhofer owned the property, on the 600 block of Langdon Street, on which the wall stood.
Erected in 1884 and long used as an informal student bulletin board.
Although efforts were made to save the wall, it was eventually destroyed to make room for the
Jewish Student Community Center.
