Edwin Young

Chancellor, 1968-1977: Young was an economics professor andformer dean of the UW College of Letters and Science. He was university chancellor during the turbulent student protest era, including the Sterling Hall bombing. The University of Wisconsin System merger took place while he was chancellor.
